Trading platform setup and administration

Daily Administration Tasks — performed every 24 hours, split between Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD). Technical Health (Administrator Terminal): • Log Review — check Server, Trade, and Error logs for critical warnings (e.g., "Trade Timeout", "Disconnects"). • Resource Monitoring — check CPU, RAM, and disk space usage on the physical or cloud server. • Bridge Connectivity — verify the connection to Liquidity Providers (LPs) is stable and quoting correctly. • Tick Data Integrity — scan for "bad ticks" (price spikes) that may have triggered invalid stop-losses; filter or delete them if found. • Time Synchronization — ensure server time aligns perfectly with the GMT/UTC offset (critical for candle formation). Business Operations (Manager Terminal): • Swap Updates — update swap rates for all currency pairs and verify them against LP rates. • Risk Monitoring — check the Exposure tab for net open positions across the brokerage; monitor A-Book vs. B-Book risk limits. • Margin Checks — review accounts approaching Stop-Out levels; ensure automated liquidations fired correctly. • Reconciliation — compare daily trade volumes and closed P&L against the Liquidity Provider's end-of-day statement. • Client Requests — process manual deposits and withdrawals (if not fully integrated via CRM/API).
